The AccèsTI-Citoyen Project

The AccèsTI-Citoyen project aims to improve digital literacy among residents aged 18 and over living in the city of Shawinigan.


Objectives

  • Improve the digital literacy skills of Shawinigan residents aged 18 and over
  • Increase their use of online municipal and government services
  • Enhance their autonomy in using the Internet and electronic devices
  • Strengthen their cyber-awareness and critical thinking in the use of new technologies and the Web

Services

The Espace @ccèsTI is a digital literacy help and support center located inside the SADC Shawinigan offices.

This dedicated space for Shawinigan residents allows you to learn how to use your devices safely and effectively, develop cyber-awareness and critical thinking when facing an issue, and learn how to find solutions on your own.

It is designed to help you better use and configure your electronic devices — cell phone, tablet, laptop, etc. — as well as the applications they contain.

Available services include:

  • Access to tutorials and training materials on-site and online for self-directed learning
  • Support from an IT facilitator offering personalized follow-up and assistance based on your needs throughout your learning journey
