Youth entrepreneuship

Youth entrepreneuship
It is said that young people are the future, and the SADC and CAE have understood this well. That is why we develop various activities to encourage youth to stay or return to live in the region.
Young people: the future of our regions

Youth entrepreneurship is a priority within the SADC and CAE Network. We collaborate with various national partners, such as the OSEntreprendre Challenge, to promote entrepreneurship and inspire young people to start their own businesses. Since 1997, we have also coordinated our Youth Strategy program to encourage young individuals to pursue their dream of acquiring or starting their own enterprise.

Youth Strategy, a key program for young people

The Youth Strategy is deployed by 65 SADC and CAE in the regions of Quebec, in order to stimulate entrepreneurship among young people. Through this program, they offer support and funding to young entrepreneurs aged 39 and under. Personalized support can also take the form of training and networking activities. They also support various economic development initiatives to encourage young people to stay or return to live in rural areas.

With the Youth Strategy program, SADC and CAE make way for the next generation and provide advantageous financial assistance along with personalized follow-up.

  • A personal loan of up to $25,000 per entrepreneur
  • The possibility of financing two young people per business for the same project: $50,000
  • An interest holiday and the possibility of a capital holiday for 2 years
